Well lets face it, this weedend stinks up here. In Crestline there have been no snow plows for over 24 hours. Interestingly, in Lake Arrowhead they have been plowing consistently for 24 hours. I guess it pays to live in the wealthier section of the San Bernardino Mountains. We have two tree branches that snapped. One of them is threatening our house, but no one can help since they haven't plowed the roads. My advice, don't move up here. Living in the snow stinks.

We got a lot of snow this Presidents' Day weekend. There were a lot of kids out sledding and having fun. After a big dump of snow Saturday night and Sunday morning there was a lot of snow on the ground, but blue sky came out and it was a beautiful day. It was a light powdery snow. The snow plows did a good job this snow and the roads were drivable early in the day.

The San Bernardino Mountain community has been celebrating the Christmas Season. Crestline started the festivities with a tree lighting ceremony November 27. They sang Christmas carols, had a preacher give a message, and then had a boat parade where the boats were decorated with Christmas lights. Also, an old fashioned fire truck brought the big man from the North Pole. This is just one example of our celebration of Christmas here in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Jimmy Chamberlin, drummer of the Smashing Pumpkins, founded this new 'group.' It is a very interesting style. Enjoy!
